Damsa Dam
The Kapadokya Damsa Dam is a dam located in the central Anatolian region of Turkey, specifically in the province of Nevşehir. It was constructed on the Damsa River in 1989 for the purposes of flood control, irrigation, and hydroelectric power generation.
The dam has a height of approximately 60 meters and a length of about 465 meters. Its reservoir has a total capacity of 58 million cubic meters, and it provides irrigation water to approximately 14,000 hectares of agricultural land in the region.

To reach Avanos Damsa Dam, you can take a taxi or a private car from the town center of Avanos, which is about 2 kilometers away. Alternatively, you can also take a local bus from the Avanos bus station to the nearby village of Damsa and walk the remaining distance to the dam.
